Forums - Gaming - Dear Ubisoft, **** You

Mass effect im guessing cause of all the content they tried to put on one disc, then causeing to much loading times but thats only speculation.

Seriously have you played AC its a fantastic game, and ive had a glitch once or twice (fell through the ground once........) it happens specially with sandbox games. Still a fantastic game and your judgeing before you played it.

Every game has bugs/glitches get used to it.

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

This kind of thing is pretty common on PC. It's likely due to how complex the games are becoming to make.

At least for PC, I think more would probably have to be because the programmers have to make their game for such a broad scale of computer hardware (which is cool when developers like Valve make their games still look good even on a not so powerful computer). Not to mention all the other programs that are competing for resources and such on a user's hardware.

Is the second part aimed at me? I have played AC and have quite enjoyed it so far, thats why I am defending Ubisoft. If they are still making glitchy games in 3 years that willl change though.

Likely in some cases but there are still a lot of bugs in some games that have nothing to do with the hardware.  For example I recently played Neverwinter Nights 2 and Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer and they were both filled with bugs like scripts not triggering, etc.

Nothing against AC, can not post my opinions on games I have not played. It is Ubisoft quality that gets me pissed. I have played 3 of the 4 games in my OP. Red Steel froze on me 2 or 3 times and I had other strange glitches. POP was ok. POP 2 got me stuck very late in the game, so I reloaded a previous save (I would have to restart if I had only one save slot).

Sorry, but I am not getting used to any glitches. They are everywhere and even Nintendo made a big one with Zelda TP and a small with SPM Pal version. Ubisoft is just going too far.

The way he flapped his harms while flying was hilarious. I wish more games had glitches like that.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Should we pay Ubisoft for these games? I remember a lot of similar glitches with Red Steel (mediocre game)

Aren't you from a country in which most people don't pay for their games anyways? So... what's the problem again?

Are you from a country where being a Xenophobic asshole is encouraged or did you learned that behaviour on some jerk association?

* no offense intended for those who live in his country

Reminds me of a glitch in Fifa 94 (i think) where you could put in a bad tackle and run away from the ref for the rest of the half when he tried to book you.  Basicly first person to score won, unfortuanetly there was also a glitch tat allowed you to score from kick off if you shot at just the right distance.

@ItsaMii

Ubisoft games are fine. You just have to read reviews and watch videos of games to know which ones to avoid.  And don't buy a Wii if you want their high quality games.

Out of curiosity how many people here who've played through Assassin's Creed encountered these bugs?
