GoW3 way undertracked in the US. It's got to be well over 2M by now. I predict 3M by end of the year and 4+M lifetime.

the game is closing in on 2 mill and will continue to sell very well , they made profit on gow3 the day it was released , i dont see why you would be worried lol .

God of War 3 won't break 3 million?  It's tracking better than Uncharted 2 and Fable 2, two of the best selling HD console exclusives.  This game will break 3 million.  That's not even taking into account that according to NPD, God of War 3 is being undertracked by VGChartz.

Sometimes I wonder if people realize that not every game sells like Halo/Call of Duty.

Yeah, I mean, people were somewhat expecting a beast sales title. It just won't happen.

Honestly, God of War III is selling very well and is surpassing my expectations. I didn’t expect it to break 1 million sales in week 1, and I thought it would slowly climb to a 3 to 4 Million unit total. The only reason the sales look "poor" is because of some people's unrealistic expectations

Actually, I followed the serie (my favorite so far on the PS, although I never liked those consoles) and was expecting more than a million first week. I was expecting more. But we all know evergreen Nintendo and... Just Dance... titles cannot be beaten.
