Did you play on an SD tv and a console with a bricked graphic's card? No way does that trailer look anywhere near as good as either KZ2 or Uncharted

I played on an HD TV.  All of those games that I mentioned.

Rewatch the trailer in HD, take off the goggles and you'll see what I mean

But as I said, I question the real time claim.

I did watch it on HD, and I saw it on the jimmy fallon show in HD, the character models don't look anywhere near as good as those seen in the other 3 games, maybe kz2. The environment also was lacking.. and calling me a fanboy is a bannable offense, this is for the bolded.

edit: To everyone, sorry that not agreeing that the trailer looked jaw dropping automatically makes me your target for off topic posts.

It has nothing to do with you not agreeing that the trailer looks jaw dropping. It has everything to do with you coming in here trolling, trying to derail a thread that is in the Microsoft forum and trying to make a bias comparison to some PS3 games that you are obsessed with. This isn't a graphics comparison thread. This is a thread about what CliffyB had to say about Gears of War 3. If you want to compare graphics to your precious PS3 games then create your own thread and stop trying to troll every MS thread.

I find it hard to believe you even have a 360 and if you do please do all 360 owners a favor and just sell it to someone who might appreciate it. Only thing I ever see out of you is constant 360 bashing and PS3 praising. Go hop on your precious GOWIII and do some single player button mashing.

Why do people even post these articles anymore? Really?

Of course graphics and visuals are going to get better. Once this game comes out, 10 months later there will be another game and another article talking about how much father the graphics will move along.

lol. you shouldn't do drugs. The trailer looked horendous and that's why people have been questioning whether the game is gunna be what they expect. I could name 50 360 games that run better than that trailer looked, not to mention the graphically superior ps3 exclusives. Mass Effect 2, Even gears 2 looked beter than the trailer. the game is still a year away though, so los of needed poish will be done, hopefully

AHAHAHA you're comparing that to Uncharted 2 and saying it's better? How is big goofy women and big goofy men in a dust storm better than anything?

you know why it was dusty? because they cant push a suitable word through 360 hardware so they hid the world and focused on the characters. Miles ahead 0f uncharted, thats just silly. the trailer was not impressive at all, and it was not meh, or just ok, it was a terrible trailer.  Anyone who saw the gears of war two trailers is very disappointed, that game had amazing cinematic trailers with beautiful visuals. this was mud disguised with dust.

And for everyone complaining about the grays in the trailer get over it. Its supposed to show a war torn city that has been destroyed by what looks like some sort of nuclear explosion hence the ashed bodies. If you want to see rainbows and unicorns go plug in the Wii. When more footage is shown at E3 I'm sure you will get your glimpse of some colored scenes.

If ( and it's a big if ) that trailer was using ingame engine to make that trailer then Gears 3 will be giving Alan Wake and Crysis 2 a run for top graphics this gen. However, Epic have their work cut out. Mass Effect 2 is the best looking UE3 title s far. Remedy have shown what a specialized engine on 360 can accomplish. OT: That trailer was just a trailer, like hundreds released this gen way before gameplay videos are shown. It's pointless arguing whether or not it was in-game or using the game engine. Obviously Gears 3 is going to look good, both the previous games have and Epic are improving on their tech all the time.
