I know its a game but by looking at a the trailer i dont really understand why people are so excited about it. What is suppse to be unique about this game other than the artwork? Please explain what features this game has as well

it's an old fashioned Zelda type game with tons of retro-based humor, some interesting mini-games, some even more interesting sword upgrades, you can create your own hero and it's only 40 bucks.

Man, I can't believe how much of a rip-off this is of Zelda!

It is a rip off indeed, but it is also an offering of the same old formula to the current generation with some new things. What are you implying, that PS3 owners don't know and haven't played Zelda?

I'm saying that PS3 owners who don't have Nintendo consoles can now experience Zelda if they never had a chance before, or if the've never heard of Zelda. It's the same deal with lots of people. I don't have any Sony or Microsoft hardware, so there are probably lots of games that I would enjoy, except that there aren't any games for the Wii/DS that are similar to that game. Since 3D Dot Heroes is being released, people who would have enjoy Zelda-style games but didn't have Nintendo consoles can now enjoy them.
