Yeah looks like Wii's lineup slightly edges PS3's next quarter, for now at least

I forgot about Gran Tourismo - though I think it might be questionable if it'll reach 10 million this gen.

GT5: Prolouge alone reached almost 5 Million and that on a 11 Million (launch)Userbase

GT4:Prolouge for comparison hit 1,8 Million on a 100 million+ userbase.

GT3 (The first GT on the PS2) reached 15 Million on a 13 Million launch userbase

 

So i think GT5 has the chance to beat them all with no piracy, 5 years since a "real" gran turisomo, online, nascar and a ~ 40 million userbase

it can hit over 15 million lifetime and i personally think it will. (if it is a good [90+] game, and i dont doubt that)

 

And i think Nier will reach 200k on PS3 alone

you guys noticed the PSP is always at the top of hand held consoles since January 2010?



Will the PS3 be the first and most successful multi-million selling piracy & hack-free console of all time?

are you talking about seperate SKUs like PSP-3000 vs DSi XL vs DSi vs DSL vs PSP Go or combined SKUs like PSP vs DS?



MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

1. FFIV would be a evergreen title for PS3 like how MHP2G to PSP.

2. GT5 will sell 15 million.

3. Nier on PS3 will sell over 200K in Japan.

Personally I don't see either of the three to come true.

Hmm, Wii holding up well I guess, although PS3 is still beating it. A 30k baseline is pretty good for Nintendo though, considering NSMB Wii is pretty much the only thing carrying it, and this time last year Wii dropped to like 15k.

Japan needs Vitality Sensor, pronto. Galaxy 2 is coming soon there but I don't see it making much an impact on hardware, especially since Galaxy 1 barely even scratched a million there.

FF11 came out on PC and 360.

Final Fantasy 14 is big on Playstation and online gaming is now a common thing in japan
i dont think it will be big as MH:2g is on psp, but 2 million is possible IMO
