Are this numbers from Famitsu or MC??? Because for Famitsu Yakuza sold more than Dead or Alive Paradise.

yes this is so true. For those of us that pay close attention to Japan we know it is not nearly as price sensitive as the west. It is all about games, how else would the saturn outsell the n64 and go head to head with ps1 for so long? It was 40000 yen, that's a lot more than the ps3 now and if you adjust for inflation it is pretty insanely expensive really.

PS3 still it's more expensive abit alot.
it's not the number of price cuts, but base price that command sales.

@Galaki: Nothing new at least until Q3. Nintendo has announced the release schedule for tis Q2 and there's no new 3rd party games there, well there's almost nothing there:
