Each of the Big 3 will release the next iteration in it's respective flagship franchise this year (probably) and all 3 have massive sales expectations.  Which do you think will have the most preorders at launch?

Platform/Game/Preorders to date/ Weeks to release

Nintendo Wii: Super Mario Galaxy 2: 147,581: 8 weeks

Microsoft XBOX 360: Halo: Reach: 77,903: 24 weeks

Sony PS3: Gran Turismo 5: 61,884: (unannounced but probably 26 to 32 weeks)

I'm just curious as to what everyone thinks.  I couldn't find a poll on this already but if I missed it, please lock.

Preorders? Reach without a doubt.

Wow, it's a landslide. I would have thought it would be close between GT5 and Reach.

If there is some sort of pre order chartz for EU and Japan then GT5 with ease, GT5 dont even have a release date at all yet its alrdy @ 60k......but the question still stands so Halo reach by default.

Nah, it will not be close. GT5 will have great legs. Halo will land like a bombshell.

No question, it's obvious that reach will gonna win this battle. And yeah of course GT will have better legs than halo. Nobody should deny these facts ;)

Some would argue that 2D Mario is Nintendo's flagship rather than 3D Mario, and even that didn't come anywhere close to the preorders Halo Reach is gonna have.
