Yeah Ninja Blade is high up on my list of underrated titles this gen, like its HIGHLY underrated, and sadly one of those titles people didn't even give the time, cause I feel if it found a group of gamers they'd spread the word and it'd get decent sales. Ninja Blade actually got my friend to say "Fuck God of War, Kratos has nothing on this" and he's a GoW fan, but this friend goes crazy over action games lol so it could have been the excitement, but just that he compared it to GoW is something for some nay sayers to at least try it. Between Ninja Blade, Tenchu SA and Demons Souls I've gained a LOT of respect for From Software this gen, sadly not much of their stuff has caught on yet, next up being 3D Dot Game Heroes! |
Yeah. Another NB fan. Yes.
I firmly believe if M$ picked up the rights to NB and threw some money and R&D at FromSoftware that Ninja Blade 2 could be visually close to GOW3. Maybe not quite, but close. Ninja Blade looked fantastic when it released. In fact better than any other Hack n Slash game at the time.
Please FS do Ninja Blade 2. It is definately the best QTE in any Hacker and has a fantastic battle system. Just give the story some extra thought and go for major great looks. It has the potential in my eyes to be the number 1 hacker game.
Following vid may contain spoilers. I had to post it. The game is seriously better than most HNS games and IMO a truly great Rollercoaster ride.
Hmmm
1. Little King's Story
2. Dawn of Discovery (Wii)
3. Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker
4. Toy Soldiers
5. Tales of Vesperia
Some people will probably think I'm joking but I'll go with
Carnival Games - There is a large variety of games, the motion controls work well in most of them, has a unique setting/game selection. I think there are a 10-15 really enjoyable games in the bunch. I've had the game since soon after it released and still find it to fun to play every once in awhile in a group setting. Some of my casual/non gamer friends and family members request to play it. (Gamerankings score - 59, my rating 75).

The only games that have outsold it are called Halo, Call of Duty, GTAIV, MGS4, or Gears of War. If that's underrated, I'd take it. |
Underrated.
I personally would have to go with Lost Odyssey. The game is amazing for the score.
Yeah Assassin's Creed can fall under the underrated title, like I said its not about the sales, personally I could list up Wii Sports, it gets hated on, its bashed, it has low ratings, but damn is it a fun game.
Only thing is I also want people to look at some games they totally wrote off, for others I leave it open because we are informed gamers, sometimes high selling games are ignored by the informed gamers because it was rated low, but fellow gamers can say something that might appeal to said gamer, it also leaves open the discussion what counts for underrated.
