Sunday 11 April. Mark the date in your diary. That is when the 5th generation of Pokémon games will be revealed on the Japanese TV programme Pokémon Sunday.

During the latest episode of the long-running show, a preview clip of next week's programme revealed that a big announcement would be made next week.

With TV Tokyo conforming that the show will be revealing information about the fifth generation games on 11th April, it's clear what this big announcement is set to be.

Of course we expected CoroCoro magazine to unveil the first details but the magazine won't be on sale until the 15th.

If Pokemon 5th Gen is a 3DS launch title, that would be one heck of an achievement. One of the biggest handheld franchise released with the successor to the biggest handheld. It'll be huge!

If anything, Pokemon SoulSilver has made me even more excited for these new games.

Sales will explode in Japan day one for sure!  I got Heartgold though but I love it. Maybe 3DS wil lcarry on the success of DS.

They already confirmed that fifth generation was going to be on DS.

Also.. 6 days.. I CAN'T WAIT!

Over 5 3DS sold in one month is possible and if the price is respectable.

5 million would be damn good but it kinda depends on what territories it is released in 5 mill for japan alone may be a bit high tho I wouldn't say impossible.
