Does it bother you that you have to pay 15 dollars just for maps that are supposed to be free? I understand developers need money but 15 dollars for maps packs is insane. If it was a new game mode i would understand but map packs should be free.

DLC sucks. DLC maps packs? Even more, they can divide the community and often, especially in cases like this, cost too much for what they offer.

No, the devs don't need money, the game's sold more than it deserved even now. If the devs haven't got the money they deserve, they should leave Activision for being too greedy. And if they get, they ought to be happy.

Anyway, doesn't bother that much since I'm not getting MW2 pretty much every. (Well, maybe when it's less than, say, 7€-8€). But in many other cases it could bother me.

Well, since I don't "have" to pay for it, it doesn't bother me one bit. People are free to waste their money on content that should be on disc.

No one is telling you you have to pay for them.

Though if you plan on playing MW2 good luck playing without them. They are doing the same thing they did with World at War - if you don't have the maps eventually you'll be forced out of public matchs because you get booted when the new maps come out, unless people manage to vote against playing the map and a old map comes up to play.

yes they should be free... if they want the game to stay strong for long, giving the game larger and longer legs they should give them for free... support their own game its part of their job and paying (once) for the game and play it its ours... Activision and others are supporting their selves much in their status amount gamers but by making moves like this their status can shift so quick like the blink of one eye... i for once don't will buy another COD game unless major changes are made!

I think I have seen at one point like 1.2 million people in the Stimulus pack game type. I'm sure more people than that have actually bought it. That is a lot of people that gladly pay for maps, well I won't say gladly but people who will buy the maps just for more COD. Sadly I'm one of them.

One of my friends last night said they have already started putting the maps into the regular game rotation already. FFA anyways.

You might not 'have' to buy it, but I don't like the trend of charging for little things.

I'd much rather see support from developers like Valve with a game like Team Fortress 2 and I hope this doesn't die off. We've seen a number of new maps, gameplay modes, weapons, items and improvements since TF2 released.

I would rather pay for maps than a new game mode... But thats just me. Either way im fine with them charging for new maps as long as they make it so your able to play without them.
