Its something I've been thinking of sporadically over the past few months and I've come to the conclusion that the only person Death Noting would benefit lots and lots of people would be Kim Jong Il. Nobody can deny that North Korea and yes, the world, would be better off without him. Maybe his son would suceed him.. but maybe he could be Death Noted as well.

I would have done it to George W. Bush and Dick Cheney to stop the Iraq War but now that's pretty much done, there is no need.

Other than that.. Nobody else comes to mind. Osama bin Laden maybe?

What is the Death Note?? I see it mentioned a lot and am too lazy to find out for myself.

Pretty much.  Only reason I could imagine using it is a break in my willpower if something or someone was going to do something or did something terrible to my loved ones.

I would feel like shit afterwords.

It's a book where if you write the persons name while thinking about their face they die.

I can think of shit loads of people I would love to use it on.

But I would make sure it was only in times of war, otherwise I would be hounded down by the authorities. So no civilians would be Death Noted.

Closest I would come is Kim Jong Il. But it challenges my morals, I'm anti death penalty but on the other hand I can see that the death of Kim Jong Il and his successors would improve the lives of millions. It's a tough one.
