It was a pretty swell 1st quarter for sure! ^_^
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle (Great sequel that fixed a lot of the predecessor's faults while still retaining the crazy charm of the original. Also, Shinobu...
)
James Cameron's Avatar: The Videogame (Although the core gameplay mechanics were there, there wasn't much soul to this game due to repetiveness and a lack of character. It's a shame too, since there's a wonderful world to take from.)
James Cameron's Avatar: The Videogame (Even though it's an entirely different game on a different system, it suffers from the same repetitiveness and lack of character as the Wii version. Although the different Na'vi armor is awesome! Still, it holds one of the worst endings in a video game I've ever seen.)
Bioshock 2 (It's tough to keep the magic and charm going, but Bioshock 2 nailed it. While it's mostly more of the same, that's not a bad thing at all. Still, it never really feels like you're a big daddy in your adventures in post-disaster Rapture. Other than that one minor complaint, it's an awesome game!)
Endless Ocean 2: Blue World (I loved the first one, and I love this one too. It's just a magical and wonderful "game". I dunno, words can't really describe the wonder and awe that Endless Ocean 2 delivers.)
Pokemon SoulSilver (This game is probably my favorite of this wonderful quarter of gaming. 65 hours in and loving every second I'm in Johto and Kanto. My team rocks my socks, and I'm gonna be the very best. Like no one ever was! To catch them all is my real test...)
Red Steel 2 (I love when games know what they are, and Red Steel 2 knows what it wants to be. It wants to be a game about wielding swords and guns. And by George it does just that, and very very well I must add. It never felt better to be a swordsman in a video game.)
...
So, it's been a great quarter... but with Mario, Metroid, and Monster Hunter coming in the summer... it's gonna be awesome!
