This game looks very promising. Nintendo is giving it the final touches, only 2 months to go and possibly a reveal during E3. The game is launching in Japan 1 week before E3.

The people of Kyoshin are split into three tribes:

Homs TribeA race that resembles humans. They live in a number of colonies located in the lower half of Kyoshin. Their civilization has developed to a middling level.
Nopon TribeA tribe of traveling merchants who can be seen throughout the entirety of the Kyoshin side of the world.
Nienter TribeA race of legend that is said to reside in the head region of the Kyoshin part of the world. It is said that they have an ancient history and have built an advanced civilization.

Xenoblade Characters Revealed

The names for Xenoblade's hero and heroine could be vaguely heard in last week's trailer. Famitsu has a more formal introduction to the characters:

Shulk
    The main character. A fan of literature. He heads off on a journey with his friends to defeat the Kishin troops who attacked his village. Race: Homs, Age: 18, Height: 171cm, Voice: Shintaro Asanuma

Fiorun
    The heroine. Childhood friend of Shulk and little sister of Dunban (below). Race: Homs, Age: 18, Height: 160cm, voice: Eri Nakao

Dunban
    The shirtless guy from the trailer. Hero of the Homs people, he used the Monado sword and defeated many Kishin army troops. He was injured during a major confrontation 1 year back and is now healing. Race: Homs, Age: 30, Height 180cm, voice: Ryo Horikawa

Dickson
    Dunban's war friend from a long time back. He watches over Shulk like a parent. Race:
Homs, Age: 44, Height: 181cm, voice: Tsuyoshi Koyama

Mumuca
    A traveling warrior. He once fought Dunban for the right to be the person who would use Monado. Race: Homs, Age: 30, Height: 195cm. voice: Norio Wakamoto
