Well you may think so. By bosses. Though from what I played so far. The game is far more linear and the game always tells you
where to go. Taking away the exploration feeling. While prime 1. You have to find out where to go. I can't remeber how many times
I looked up for a walkthrough on the internet because I didn't know where to go :/

Honestly NO. It is not a mass appeal type of game like many other Nintendo games. It is to many of us (including me) a very fun bad ass game. Exporing, finding upgrades, Figuring out some of the Big boss battles, etc etc makes it so. It will probably never be as big as Mario or even Zelda no matter how they do it. I wish it did sell more at least 4-5million, but I do not see this happening.

thats probably nintendo's fault when they decided to make prime a fpa alot of fan of the 2d series like me didnt like it so because of that they moved over to other franchise and they created new fans who never experienced the 2ds and are on undecided if they will buy metroid other m or not but I really hope this title can do what mario 64 or ocarina of time did for mario and zelda

cuz even tho I played the prime series I hated them becuz the whole gameplay was too different and slow



Nintendo made me a gamer so I'd be stupid to ever try to forget that                                             like so many people nowadays

Exactly. Try fighting the Boost Guardian in the original. Him and the Emperor Ing will make you tear hair out.

Metroid games have sold exactly what they deserve.

Do I wish they sold better though? Hell yes.

yeah metroid prime was one of the best last gen games and IMO should have sold better.

Yes. I am currently playing Metroid Prime Trilogy and I believe it is a collection of three of the most revolutionary games ever to reach a console. The effort to make Metroid games has been dissolved by its lack of sales. Hopefully Metroid: Other M can surpass 3m in sales.

Well that's out of question. Metroid always had a bad luck in terms of sales, that's because most people dosn't even know about it's existence....as I already said in another thread, nintendo should put some demos inside of their million sellers like NSMBW.
