The problem with flash is that it doesn't run natively on PowerPC processor ( like the CELL ) so they have have to emulate it and it consumes a lot of resources.

But this is Adobe's fault really, not Sony.

He loves MLB The Show. Google it. He really doesn't hate Sony or the PS3, and the way he expresses himself every time shows this. However when Sony says something.. They bash MS and Nintendo into the ground. One of the reasons I like Greenberg and Reggie more than any Sony PR-guy. 

Yeah right, like Nintendo and MS never bashed Sony... And btw, Sony said nice things too about the Wii and the 360.

I dont Sony ever meant the browser to replace a PC but it is functional if you know how to use. I use it to watch megavideo videos all the time on my 42" Plasma. It sure beats the hell out of watching it on the Laptop i have and the sound and picture quality are great. Picture quality is dependent on the website used

it's not that bad imo. it's actually pretty decent when you hook up a mouse and keyboard, and I presume when move is released a FW update will allow you to use the ps wand as a cursor.

So? Nintendo kind of has the right to do it right now.. With the gamecub e they didn't have the right to bash the PS2, but now.. They sold the Wii like pancakes, Sony is copying them, and above that, Sony is being arrogant about their own motion controls in comparison to the Wii? Don't make me laugh. Same story with the NDS and the PSP. Sony needs to learn its place. I thought that they would've learned it with the launch of the PS3. They were bashing the X360 altogether, and making claims like "4D-graphics" but they had a crappy launch and their system had received nothing but criticism and had mediocre graphics. They were quiet for a while, but after the Slim and a handful of good exclusives, they are on the same roll as before and being as arrogant as ever and bashing everyone. I hope it bites them in the ass. They are in no position to be bragging, they are the ones who are losing the most money. There's a difference between showing your own strengths, and bashing the competition to make yourself look better.

I can watch videos on it, that's plenty enough for me. A console isn't fit for serious browsing anyway.

well it helps if you install Linux on your PS3 xD
