Wasnt this the very reason MS got involved with consoles, the fear that Soony would take the front room with a simple yet powerful machine that accesses the web? The reason they will not add a browser is that it will hurt anouther market of theirs. For your information I use the PS3's browser to watch videos from the net, i.e. youtube, bbc iplayer, iraqgoals (if someone knows of a better site for live football I would love to know) and pornhub.

The 360 and the PS3 are the two most similar consoles ever, so if he loves the 360 there must be plenty to love on the PS3.

Well BBC I Player works perfectly in it, and id rather watch tv on my tv than on my laptop.

if you wanna test how good a browser is , visit VGChartz , when you do that on PS3's browser it takes awhile for the "Hot Topic" section to load unlike on Firefox.

It was all i had for awhile after my PC was attacked by viruses. At least it kept me going on the web. Also, I found the only site not worth visiting with it is vgchartz so many errors it freezes constantly.
