I dont Sony ever meant the browser to replace a PC but it is functional if you know how to use. I use it to watch megavideo videos all the time on my 42" Plasma. It sure beats the hell out of watching it on the Laptop i have and the sound and picture quality are great. Picture quality is dependent on the website used
