i read some post from the previous page. good grief people. this guy was as fair as can be, and yet fans are still looking for ways to get their panties in a bunch over it.

he was equally critical of both consoles.

i personally thought his god of war analysis was a little light, but there was nothing in his comments to wage a jihad over.

You mean just as you have PS3 bias?

1.he probably means that uncharted 2 is the game to get since it had the highest meta

2.seriously, the ps3 really didnt have anyting going for it its first 2 years...all the games you named are all it had, and some of those are not even AAA...if i were to get a system back then, it would be the 360....and you know yourself that the ps3 had a bad start in its library 

3.practically did, theres only 2 games in the ps3 library that pass it...its sad i know =[

4.actually, he plays most of his games on the ps3. He is obviously a pc gamer at heart but when hes on a console, it will be mainly his ps3. he bought MW2 and even bioshock 2 on his ps3 despite theyre low sales on the ps3 *comparing sales to 360 obviously*

1. No clearly he means the PS3's only killer app is Uncharted (he said "If the ps3 had a killer app it's Uncharted" )

2. Its first 2 years the PS3 had WARHAWK, RESISTANCE, RATCHET AND CLANK, HEAVENLY SWORD, MOTORSTORM, SOCOM CONFRONTATION, and a load of multiplatform AAA ip like COD4, ASSASSINS CREED, OBLIVION, and HALF LIFE. The platform clearly had good games. BUt the 360 had more of them due to the fact it had an entire year to build up its library.

3. 2 ps3 games is enough to say that gears 2 did not ousell every ps3 game

4. I dont care, clearly in the video he shows some 360 bias.

Is English your first language? By him saying "If the PS3 had a killer app then its Uncharted" he is using it as a form of expression. Its like saying "If there was a reason to get a PS3 then this is it" He isn't saying it doesn't have killer apps. Stop taking stuff out of context and trying to twist it into what you want it to say. Believe it or not the world is not out to bash the PS3.

Overall his assessment seems fair. The only problem I have is that he set his criteria and then abandoned it. He gave the PS3 the edge based on diversity, but at the beginning of the piece he clearly states his evaluation will be based on: graphics, commercial success, and critical acclaim. Diversity is not mentioned. If the decision was based solely on the stated criteria it is probably a draw or maybe a slight edge for the 360.

People look for bias when there is none just because someone has a different opinion than them. The comparison was fair.

What I got from this is ps3 needs more awesome rpgs and zombie killing games.

you must mean the best selling...because i do not see uncharted 2, metal gear sold 4, or littlebigplanet on the 360/pc....however the highest rated games on the 360 are on pc

Good video, there were a couple of things i would disagree with but its not my video. Maybe i need to watch it again but at the end he made it sound like God of War 3 was the only system seller. I bought my ps3 for metal gear solid 4(plus my 360 kept getting RROD) and would have bought one for uncharted 2 also and even heavy rain.
