PS3 is a failure get over it. Just be glad it isn't like the cube last gen.

Does it have the best gaming library according to critics? YES

Is it the best multimedia gaming console you can get? YES

Will it offer 3D gaming/MOVIES WITHOUT THE NEED OF BUYING ANOTHER $400 BLU RAYP PLAYER? YES

And its selling better than the PS1 in its same life time my friend.

The PS3 has some of the best 1st/2nd party games, best exclusive 3rd party games, and best 3rd party multi-platform games.  The Gamecube has some of the best 1st/2nd party games for its gen, but that was about it.  The PS3 is catering to gamers.  Get over it.

That still doesn't changed the fact the PS3 failed. The ps3 has good games no doubt but the system itself is a failure

Oh, so are you claiming that the PS3 failed in its purpose in being a gaming console to provide gamers with a variety of quality games?

As a gamer, the PS3 is not a failure, as a company it is a failure or WAS one, until its beginning ot see the best software sales out of any platform DESPITE having the smallest install base this gen, and is beginning to take of HW wise, and its about to break even HW wise.

Quality games don't save the console. N64 didn't do well but it had lot of good games. GCN has some good games but it failed.
