So far the PS3 sold more untits then the N64, the GameCube, the Xbox and is currently outselling the xbox360.
How is that a failure?

As a gamer, the PS3 is not a failure, as a company it is a failure or WAS one, until its beginning ot see the best software sales out of any platform DESPITE having the smallest install base this gen, and is beginning to take of HW wise, and its about to break even HW wise.
