• The Xbox360 sold 39 million units worldwide ~ 4.5 years (and counting)
• The PS3 sold 33.5 million units worldwide ~ 3.5 years (and counting)

So far the PS3 sold more units then the N64, the GameCube, the Xbox and is currently outselling the xbox360.

How is that a failure?
