I apologize for the limited choices, there is only a 6 option limit, so I will add 2 in via text here. The choices are:
1 - Action games - their focus is on tight controls and immersive gameplay.
2 - Adventure games - their focus is on exploration, solving puzzles, and collecting.
3 - Music/Party games - their focus is on multiplayer comradery and pick-up-and-play ability.
4 - Racing/Sports games - their focus is on competitiveness between friends or player versus A.I., and simulation to some extent.
5 - RPGs games - their focus is on character progression (such as: leveling up, stats, skills) and immersive story.
6 - Shooters games - their focus is on skill of precision and competitive rivalry.
7 - Strategy games - their focus is on planning, tactical maneuvering, resource management, and competitiveness.
8 - Simulation games - their focus is realistic emulation (not graphically, but rather physics realism and systems realism) and, sometimes contradictory to that fact, is the god-like control the player has in some of these games.
Anyway, my choice are the Action games, my favorite amongst them specifically are the Action RPGs.
The reason I choose action games is because they are always gameplay focused by definition. And, I am one of those peeps that takes Gameplay over all else, especially if the game is local co-operative.
So, I would like to know, what is your guys'/gals' choices and why?
