I want to see an animated movie of Mario!

A CG Mario movie would be awesome as well.

PIXAR!

hello how are you.

Around the Network

would love to see a zelda and metroid movie.

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

Gahh, a Miyazaki-made Zelda movie would be beyond epic. *.*'

Just expect more whimsy than action, which would not be a bad thing.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Yeah. Such a movie wouldn't really focus on the action, but more on the segments in between dungeons and stuff. Also, it'd be all about Zelda, not Link. He'd be a side character.

Ah, one can dream, it'll never happen though.

Remember when Miyamoto suggested a Terminator-style plot for the Wii Zapper Zelda game? So if Nintendo can't trust themselves to never screw up their plots, I can see why they would be wary of Hollywood.

wait, what? How would that even have worked?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Not too big on the whole Zelda Movie idea. You'd have to be a hell of a director to shrink a 10-30 hour long game that has been silent since its first installment into a 3-hour maximum film.

A cartoon series based on the Windwaker/Spirit Tracks Zeldas would be great, though, just as long as it was done by a studio that actually gives a damn (gtfo 4kids).

First of all, assume that Hyrule eventually gets out of what TV Tropes calles "Medieval Stasis". Second of all, in the future, there will be robots (by Paul Maginot) and they would have a beef against Link for some reason. Perhaps Ganon will rule an alternate future and taking out Link is the way to ensure this is the prime timeline.

Or just go with an original plot that doesn't need to be told with finding four to eight MacGuffins. The games have plots made for games. They are filler for the gameplay. Movies are different.
