Good run, Metal, though even at your HR Rathalos had a bit too much health for just the two of us.

I finally can get the rising soul long sword.

I feel so dam inadequate. I don't even know what's a lightning ticket.

Lightning tickets are items u get from doing the "Sea Power" event quest(hunt 2 Lagiacrus).

well i'm midway through star 2 quests in offline and enjoying this game.  i spend most my time collecting getting money and trying to upgrade all weapons and armor, lol

figured I would ask now that I have a knack of the game and could potentially understand what you say:

So any kind of helpful info to bestow upon a new guy, like hints, secrets, little helpful advice in like what to hunt, harvest ect.  I found doing the fishing quest and just fishing for like 30 minutes nets some great cash and also doing the god bug in the farm is good money.  Is there a monster I should spend most time slaying for their potential drops or what can you guys tell a nooby in offline to do best.  Should i just rush through beginning fast as can and later fighting stronger guys I get all stuff quick?  though seems i got through a few health potions fighting giant jaggi whenever i see him, so doubtful you can rush through in this game.

like how do you get these charms or whatever they are called, only one i have is the one given by blacksmith?  i dont' see a forge them option from him, do monster drop them?

I am doing that Sea Power quest. I need a couple of more shell shockers and tickets before I can get the Rising Soul. People get missing with the dragonator.

The first time i encountered it was when i passed hr18, lasted a little while but now i haven't seen it for a while.

The 18 version is an event quest that only triggers during sandstorms.

The 30 version can be accessed at any time.

I will be on tonight if anyone wants to join me. I will be hanging around the recruiting server doing Sea power runs to get that rising soul blade.

ooh another question, where do you see your HR?

i saw online what it is points wise per level, so i can figure mine out, but is there somewhere you can look like hunter info wise or something that mentions your HR?

Check the Status option in your online menu: your HR and To Go are listed there.

I just finished star 3 quests offline, and I agree the game is enjoyable.
I only have two charms, and the second one was a quest reward.
I hope the pros give you some tips so I can learn also.
