Do you usually stand up to play it?

I understand the game encourages (but doesn't force) you to use your sword more than the gun, but for those times when you do need to point I wouldn't want to be stood up... it's more difficult to aim (it's like trying to play a dual analogue FPS using your index fingers on the control sticks)

I can't imagine playing it sitting down to be honest. I honestly don't see it working very well. And I have no issue aiming while I stand up.

Well I don't think I would have a problem playing the sword bits lying down like I usually am (my TV is at the end of my bed... the only game so far I have trouble playing in this position is Wii Bowling)

Anything involving pointing though I would have difficulty doing it standing up, well, I can point anywhere on screen ok, but responsiveness and pinpoint accuracy is difficult without having at least somewhere to stady my elbow if not my wrist. Playing The Conduit for instance I would be terrible stood up.

I'm not sure how much difference it makes, but there is a 'relaxed' gesture sensitivity setting for RS2.

Well I have to say, Im REALLY liking this game.  Just picked it up  today.  Lovethe art style and destructable objects everywhere.  The swordplay works well enough.  Im happy.

So far I am digging the game The art style is sublime.

the minor things I dont like:

1. when swinging the sword the screen can sometimes move around uncontrollably
2. the voice acting and script are pretty cheesy

Well said my friend! I am currently SOOOOO in love with this game it's unbelievable. It looks gorgeos on my HD tv and it plays like a dream. I agree with yousentiment of once you get it, you get. It is like Mirror's Edge in that way.

And thanks for the vid! I love your dedication. This game really is a testament to the Wii's strengths and I'm already dreaming of part  3 with multiplayer. In fact, were THIS game to have multiplayer I would dub it the best shooter I've ever played for sure.

The game does have a Nintendo polish feel to it. Anyone else having issues with calibration or nunchuk wire smacking them in the face?

Maybe I am just too crazy when I play.

No calibration issues here, but the wire is pretty annoying. I don't get it in my face though, but I sometimes get the Remote tangled into it and it smacks against my arms and hands :/

I think the calibration goes off if you're playing in a bright environment, with reflections from the sun.

I've noticed problems that don't appear when I'm playing later in the day.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

www.xnagg.com/zombieasteroids/publish.htm

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

Ok. This has clicked now. Utterly awesome swordfighting. Motionplus has arrived!!

Yes.

The wire thing is indeed annoying. I have slapped just about my entire body with this wire, but that doesn't stop me seeing how awesome this whole game is.

This really should have been a launch title for Wii and not 3 and a half years late.

I'm glad someone said it

Getting whipped in the face is honestly my biggest complaint about RS2, haha.

This game needs a wireless nun chuck big time.  As it is I have to stand with my left hand pressed up against my right shoulder while playing or else I'm constantly tugging on the nunchuck cord or getting whipped.

I even carved the pins off the back of the M+ and carved up my wireless nunchuck plug with the slight hope that it might actually work when plugged into M+ but of course it doesn't...
