Hello, I have noticed that the Xbox 360 has some high quality games such as Gears of war 1/2, Halo 3, Fable 3, Forza 2/3, etc.
The Xbox 360 also plays DVDs and has digital distibution for movies and games.
Xbox live is full of amazing content and well worth its price, it has arguably the best online for any home entertainment system.
Why is it that it gets beat by the PS3 in Europe (Excluding UK)? The Price is right, it sells like hotcakes in United States/Canada, why doesnt it sell well in Europe? What more could the public want? Any guesses? It already has racing games and soccer games so idk...

- The PS3 has bluray allowing HD films and larger games - i watch hd films on my 360... larger games?
- The 360 is not even close to the media center that the PS3 is, which can play music & videos off a data stick, and stream almost any size movie wirelessly without a problem. - I just watched an instant on 1080p movie streamed, no downloading.
- Free online - true... better? nah.
- Inbuilt wireless - perhaps a benefit, but so what?
- More powerful console than the 360 (Please don't argue this one, facts are facts) - Therefore exclusives have the ability to look better - opinion, but in any event looking better does not equal better game
- More high profile exclusives which do not make the cross over to PC, unlike many 360 titles, some being superior (Splinter Cell, L4D, ME1 & 2, Gears of War etc) and?
- Looses less exclusive content than the 360, some being superior/improved for PS3(GTA & Fallout DLC, Tales of Vesperia, Stars Ocean etc) talk about reaching
- 360 has a notorious reliability history history being the operative word.

some of that is opinion, some of it is just plain wrong.

Then please correct me where you feel it is wrong....

there you go...

1. The 360 wireless streaming is awful, not to mention it's format support is far less than the PS3, which can use datasticks no problem
2. The differences are only with visuals, such as the XBL store is much easier, but the downside being it's all over the dash board. Any issues in gaming is to do with the devs and producers of that game, not PSN.
3. It's a benefit to any house which doesn't want ethernet cable all over the place, and any house with multiple stories and again, doesn't want to install ethernet wires. Plus MS will charge you £60 for wireless which is damn steep.
4. No, the PS3 is more powerful than the 360 and therefore the games have the ability to look better, as in higher AA, more advanced lighting. The extra power of the PS3 means games have the potential to be graphically better than 360 games. If you disagree with this you may as well say that Metro 2033 looks just the same as Commander Keen. Yes, graphics don't make a game better, but it can help with immersion, and hell, people tend to like pretty looking games.
5. Why buy a 360 when my/your/whoevers PC can play many of the titles advertised on the 360, and play them better?
6. Reaching...? Again, it means there is less incentive to buy a 360 when it does not have much exclusive content or games, and that which it claims is exclusive turns out not to be. A dwindling list of exclusives is not going to help a console sell.
7. Nope, the RROD still occurs and the improved figures of the Jasper chip from MS were for the first year of the console life span, not say 3 years. Either way the bad reliability has hurt the 360 image.
In conclusion the above points means that the reasons to buy the 360 are not that large if you are considering it against a PC or PS3 etc, hence why it's sales are decreasing.
