i tell you what RE4 on teh wii is some of the best 3rd person shoter controls i have every felt--hands down smooth

Count on it. Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition was the test. A 2 year old game being rereleased only with Wii controls and selling pretty well despite it being released previously?

Yeah. Capcom is looking to make Resident Evil 5 with Wii in mind first & I wouldn't even be surprised if it would be exclusive to Wii though it could still be multiplatform with another setup designed for PS3 & XBox 360.

any how just like COD3 was a test. Cod4 is not on the wii..


The only difference is that the COD3 test failed.

The Wii hitting 60M in 2008 would require average weekly sales of at least 800k. The console's momentum is clearly increasing, as is the library of games, but I don't see the rate of sales doubling from a crazy week like this. I think 40M sounds likely, but substantially above that would really surprise me.

 40m ? Perhaps by September 08.

The wii is going to do 20m on its first year, with galaxy and Zelda as the huge sellers... Next year SSBB, Mario Kart, Wii Fit, Animal crossing, Wii Music, Wii Motorsports, and Price cut (maybe)

Anything less than 55m and the Wii bombed.

Do you have anything at all to back up this statement?  It's hard to take you even the least bit seriously when you appear to just pull things from your ass and present them as fact.

Its not going to make it to 20million this year, it will make it to 17 million at best. Why? They are only making 1.8M a month. If they sell out(which is likely) they will end up around 17.3M by the end of the year.

 Also he said early 2009 meaning february or march, I dont expect 30M for wii at that point.

 I was thinking on march 09.

Anyway, the Wii sold 17m+ without being able to meet demand on its first year, and with only 2 really good sellers ( Zelda and Mario galaxy) and yet you expect it to sell less on its second year? Despite higher production rates, price cut, more huge sellers (AC, SSBB, MK, WiiFit, Wii Music, etc) ????

 

I hope you don't bet on that :)
