I hope the PS Move gets the same great 3rd party support the Wii Remote has had!

Most likely they will.  Sony is already getting Brunswick Bowling and Tiger Woods Golf just like the Wii.

Next up is Rayman Raving Rabbids and Red Steel...

You forgot EA Sports Active!

And Boom Blox.

And RE4... uh, 5.

I wonder if Cooking Mama will jump ship?

Yep.  Right around the same time as Super Monkey Ball.

Ew.  Move can have that traitorous whore... I've already moved on to Kororinpa! <3

LOL  Kororinpa 2 was really good.

Let's end it here before this goes on forever.

I do understand that is how move works a lot of the time, probably not all though.

Quite a few games work without the sensor bar as it only detects the cursor and helps orientate the motion plus now and again.

I just wanted to say that the motion plus does not use the sensor bar to orientate itself at all. It just does it by sitting on a flat surface. You can set it on a flat surface pointing away from the sensor bar and it will orientate itself just fine. The sensor bar is only used for cursor based gameplay (unless some game uses it to do something weird).

Hes very misinformed about the move. I think he needs some history lesson about the wands introduction before making his bias about it and assuming it as a copy.

Would you settle for "inspired by"?  Whether it's true or not Reggie is obviously playing on the perception that the Move is a blatant copy of the Wii-mote, which isn't a terribly hard sell as it's going to look that way to the vast majority of consumers.

I'll bet Sony PR tries to spin this to Wii-2, in reference to motion controls plus HD.

Yeah I'd like to see Sony's response to Reggie's claims.

it should be the KB advert for move followed closey by the minority report like controls on ps move video, that should shut him up about nothing new being shown.

wii sports is a copy from eye toy sports ::) also someone should email him lots of eye toy video footage, it looks really familiar lol

it's the future of handheld

Its just the truth, nothing to get worked up about.

Wait until Reggie tells a lie, then jump on him.

Edit: but I wouldn't hold my breath

The tech is different, dude.

Who said it was the same tech, dude?

Depends on the context then of how you say "rip-off". The design and cause for release, yes, then it's a rip-off.

Technically, though, it isn't.

Eh... you know Wii Sports actually launched at the same time as EyeToy Play Sports right?  And that it was completed earlier?

Nevermind that the games play almost NOTHING alike...

It certainly uses it for some degree of calibration: for example in WSR sword fighting where you have to point at the centre of the screen between each round or for quick calibration during a round in both sword fighting and ping pong.

I think that's an optional setting.  It does help though.

The between round calibration isn't optional, the during round one is though.
