Nope FF13 is far far better than it in every aspect! (except maybe VA's).

It's definitely the best HD JRPG that begins with the letter "V" and mostly involve controlling soldiers/tanks on a battlefield (like a strategy game), that's for sure!

I'm trying hard, but I can't do it. I just can't.

Yes. Yes it is. It's the only one that's really "moved" me so far, and i'm buying a PSP just to play VC2 when it releases. I aint buying a PSP to play FF Agito XIII.

I would also say it is my favourite PS3 game.
