This info has nothing to do with NPD. So NPD is not undertracking. Since NPD has nearly 2 more weeks of sales (including post Thanksgiving aka Black Friday) Nintendo could be nice and aggressive with the announced sales since no when will ever no. NPD sales for November will certainly be higher. Nintendo would announce on the high end and we would never know.

 in some latinamerican countries, there was a launch too, for example chile, mexico... here in venezuela we have to order smg directly from usa... but i think at most, our market its about 10k overall... not so much..

Look ,if Nintendo has rounded numbers it hasnt done it to the lower end .

Second ,if they are giving shipped copies as sold numbers the actual number is actually lower than those 500K as its not sold out everywhere .

Third ,canadian sales must be added but wont be more that 50K-75K at best .

So the actual SMG sales numbers must be between 450K and 575K and the 750K number estimated is waay off .

Seriously ioi, hand over the site to Diomedes, he obviously knows much more about sales than you. Look at the way he calculated Canadian figures with nothing else than a brain and a Cell Processor powered super-computer.

Diomedes, you really need to start your own site so we can go there and whine about how wrong it is all the time.

LOL ,now its my reasoning the one wrong .

First ,you are assuming that either Canada sales are 50% of those in USA or that Nintendo is purposedly downplaying the Galaxy numbers for some absurd reason only nintendo fans can apparently think about .

Then ,assertions as " Our numbers may be 34% off but I am confortable with them " dont give any credit to the site .You may be comfortable with overtracking it by 200% too ,who knows ? .This kind of reasoning devoids of any credibility any site not just this .

If I made a site and put PS3 software numbers at 40% more than Sony itselfs claim because " I feel comfortable with those " everybody would jump on me for that ....and with all the reason on the world they would be fully justified .

That would be 500 millions not 500K as it has sold .
