"The other one" - Kratos's brother I believe. There will most likely be something about him in the next installation of the series. Something to marinate on for the years to come.
guys you know before the credit you can see that kratos is laying on a floor
with a phoenix/eagle carved on the floor. After the credit you can see that the blood goes to the end of the cliff and dissapeared. I think that the pegasus? or something caught kratos xD
just a theory i guess

Fail theory,
Guys the phoenix represents "rebirth". A phoenix turns into dust and is born over again (Harry Potter anyone? xDD)
Also come on ... for those that didnt like the ending,
Kratos is a bad-ass character that showed us a completely diffrent side towards the end at GoW 3, but that doesnt change the fact of what he had done. He eventually forgave himself and found the hope inside to defeat Zeus. He then killed himself to release hope into the world so that the human race can live without the gods. Thats fucking noble and a great epic ending. Even if you're as sad as I am over the fact that GOD OF WAR has ended. I will be getting the other games if they come with his brother or whatever, but Kratos made the game. Nonetheless he got an epic goodbye. Like I said though, the phoenix represents ....
"The Phoenix always rises from its own ashes. It can be a metaphor for always picking yourself up when you are down"
"The name of this mythical bird comes from Greek, meaning red, purple. Corresponding with this Greek myth, Phoenix is an oracular bird, which can periodically burn up and then regenerate from it's own ashes. It's the symbol of immortality by resurrection. The legend says that the bird was seen feeding itself with dew, gathering smelling herbs, burning with them waiting for the moment of resurrection after three days. "
"The legend of the Phoenix can be simply interpreted to mean that the end is only the beginning. "
To many a Phoenix may represent a new beginning, that no matter how bad (hot) things may get you will get back up on your feet (rise out of the ashes).
We will see what happends, the GoW team wont leave us like this for sure. We will hear more about Kratos and even if he is not ..DEAD, his story is. An epic ending!
Solid Snake was pretty much saved by Big Boss and Snake had friends etc,
Kratos didnt have shit. How is it even possible to create a happy ending at the end of GoW 3? I mean seriously.. lol. His wife and daughter is dead, they're not coming back and anyone who thought that would be delusional.

Kratos has another brother who is alive?
| luvtospooge said: He drowned himself in the ocean, reminiscence of what he was about to do in God of War. Or he is alive. Or something dragged his body. I am more interested in what Zeus said..." the Other one', who could it be? |
Hercules.

Not Hercules. Hercules was his "brother" mainly because Kratos was a GOD. Hell every damn god are relatives, automatically.
He had another brother that was banished from Sparta and sent to the mountains to survive ( most likely died ). Thats probably who they are talking about. Wait...
Oh my mistake, Hercules could have been that brother.
300 sparta quote =
"The old ones say we Spartans are descended from Hercules himself"

Come on people!
he could be hacked into pieces, the pieces squashed, then danced upon, then burned, the ashes eaten by bugs, the bugs eaten by birds, the birds eaten by cats, and the cats drowned in the styx, and he would still come back if the devs want him to.
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
- George Orwell, ‘1984’
Yes definitely, Kratos brother will rise!! he has some connections with hercule's right? im talking about kratos..

kinda disapointed by the ending ...
wtf is the "hope weapon" ?
I mean, Kratso cant have hope since he will NEVER have his family come back !
At VERY BEST, he should have killed himself after finishing Zeus ... there was no need about this "hope weapon" ...
Time to Work !
