Not really. If the game's name is Yakuza, Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, or Gran Turismo, it's actually expected.

Still, 400K is still a monstrous # though.

It was not really expected considering ioi thesource predicted something like 100k-200k first week.

You do know Final Fantasy had 36....you know what darth it was all ps3's doing.

Unless we want to dumb down huge like reviews do! I would say huge/massive in Japan is any does 800k-3million....anything above is godlike! :P

But Yakuza is doing awesome, above expectations.

Yakuza (PS2) 129,863 (345,323 ltd)
Yakuza 2 (PS2) 281,836 (572,917 ltd)
Yakuza Kenzan (PS3) 177,897 (270,438 ltd)
Yakuza 3 (PS3) 356,867 (509,223 ltd)

...and BEST reprints...

Yakuza (PS2) 33,012 (484,199 ltd)
Yakuza 2 (PS2) 17,659 (201,866 ltd)
Yakuza 3 (PS3) likely under 6,000 (58,100 ltd)

...sounds to me like Yakuza 4 broke 400k for sure at least. I think it may have even outdone MGS4 first week honestly (476,334), the promotion for the game's been INSANE, on par with games like FFXIII and MH3.

Agreed. I think we'll also see a big bump for Y3 BEST this week, it may even make top 20 imo.
