i own a wii...and i still want move.

perhaps he is forgetting that some (or should i say many) people own more than 1 console.

if he is going down the redundancy path (i.e., no different from wii therefore it's not warranted)...then he should remember how many games that get released on ps3/360 that never see the light of day on wii, and many of those games could use move to enhance the experience. RE5 with motion controls would be nice. Not only that, but dare I say the ps3 may even make more use out of motion controls given it's superior processor, etc.

Does no one understand that the MOVE is an ADDITION to all their pre-existing features...Everyone keeps acting like it's their only catch to get new people to their console....They just want it to do everything, guys, that's all.



Just waiting for that PS Vita to come out so I can play some full featured games on the go with that beautiful screen and control scheme...

You have absolutely no idea if it will or will not be included for much cheaper than that, sir...so don't speculate pricing on a bundle of the Ps3+MOVE together...just because an external kit is more expensive when added together, doesn't mean they won't offer a bundle of Ps3+Move set for 50 bucks less or even more off depending on if they think of something before launch.

All I can say, is that I am more likely to get Natal over Move, and I hate Natal....In end, if will all depend on how well they market it, the type of games they have and if people think these products will have a future.

I think Reggie is on point in that the current Wii userbase will not go get a PS3 with or without Move. The Sony motion controls will only enhance the current userbase's experience

He didn't say scared. "Rattled" & "miffed" translate into jolted and mad/annoyed.

OT: He may be right in the long run, but I'm sure there will be those that have just a Wii and/or a 360 that will be curious about Move.

I don't think he's rattled or miffed; I think he's being bombarded by terrible questions that force him into saying things like that.  The interviewer was terrible.  I don't think Reggie wants to talk trash if he can avoid it, but when that's all the interviewer's asking you for, it's kind of hard.

I didn't mind the questions, they seemed pretty aggressive but even handed imo.  And Reggie's responses were probably the best I've ever heard from him, not a lot of subterfuge/evasion and a lot of laying out how it really is.  The Pachter smackdown was the cherry on top, surprisingly great interview imo.

I completely agree, it just doesn't give the consumer any benefit over the Wii



Rumors indicate that it is planning on following the first approach, sticking a new, motion-sensitive controller onto an existing console. Our perspective is that this is the worst of the three options.

-Clayton Christensen back in 2007 already knew Move would be a bad idea
