Forums - Sony Discussion - Did Sony consider the safety factor when designing PS Move?

the bulb is made or rubber and is completely hollow you can squash it flash with your fist and it just reforms, the move wont need a crappy safety jacket cos it basically has a nerf ball on the end of it. its illuminated by leds below the ball that shine upwards into it,

In fact if you squeeze the ball hard enough you can feel a little rush of air coming out the bottom of the wand ^_^

that is actually pretty cool, however they really need rubber everywhere. Don't underestimate how stupid people can be

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Survival of the fittest. The child who eats too many marbles doesn't grow up to have children of his own.

A warrior keeps death on the mind from the moment of their first breath to the moment of their last.

Stupid people always find ways to hurt themselves.

"Well certainly with the Xbox 360, we had some challenges at the launch. Once we identified that we took control of it. We wanted to do it right by our customers. Our customers are very important to us." -Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb (10/2013). Note: RRoD was fixed with the Jasper-revision 3 years after the launch of 360

"People don't pay attention to a lot of the details."-Yusuf Mehdi explaining why Xbone DRM scheme would succeed

"Fortunately we have a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity; it's called Xbox 360,”-Don Mattrick

"The region locking of the 3DS wasn't done for profits on games"-MDMAlliance

The design looks to be better than the Wiimote.

It has a concave look to it. Plus the trigger on the Move puts your index finger into a locked position as well.

I would guess it is like a ping pong ball material if hit it will crush and not break or crack.
