"looks down at the pop hes drinking"
"knowtices its a Mountain Dew"
"knowtices the master chief on the side"
Halo 3?
Starcraft 2 is probably quite hyped as well
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.
Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.halo 3 was promoted a lot but does promotion always=hype
not everyone likes games, lots of people might have seen halo 3 ads but didn't care.
hype I think means that the people who did care about the game are waiting for the game to come out and hope that it's a good game and not a crappy one.
smb3 I think might have had lots of people waiting for the game but don't know if more then halo 3
1) SMB3
2) Halo3
3) "something something"3??
-maybe it's a third installment thing.........
If you don't assume promotion = hype, I think you could list a pile of recently released or recently delayed PS3 games that had equal hype to SSB:B so far. And more hype than Galaxy. Metal Gear anyone?
