Nice thread, and it was about time someone brought this up, I hope we can all be civilized about this.

Its Sony who are the problem. They speak crap about the Wii all through the generation and then they have the gall to copy Nintendo almost 1:1? They deserve to get mocked for it, and mocked hard. Aside from that its just a natural anger which has been brewing the whole generation and Sony are the first appropriate outlet for that anger.

If Sony had just STFU about the Wii and shelved their arrogance this would never have happened. Its not about the fact that the copied, its about the fact they were assholes to the Wii which they then subsequently copied. Its Sony who brings this home to their own roost, why not make a thread about that?

The Wiimote got 4 straight years of "This is a stupid fad, it's completely worthless, PS3+360 will rulez it"... So, basically, what I'm saying is, I'll stop making fun of the Move and the Natal in 2014.

Nintendo played a fair game and won. No shenanigans, no underhanded dealings, no pressure on publishers. They won fair and square and noone can come back next generation and say that Nintendo didn't earn their keep in this one or that they were anti-competitive, monopolistic or even negative to the competition. Why defend companies which do all of the above?

I support PS3 more than 360 and Wii, but it doesn't mean I don't have respect for them. Granted I still don't think Move is a 1:1 copy, but I don't even want to get into that, I've already tried to get people to see what I was trying to say.

I'm done with this whole Wiimote vs Move crap, I'm letting it slide and going to sit back and watch Fanboys of both sides humiliate themselves.

I'm sorry but Sony should have announced their new "FAD" as the Waggle Jr. I don't feel the least bit bad if they get bashed back to the stone age. Both Sony & MS encouraged the "Waggle / Fad" BS for YEARS everywhere they had influence. There was plenty of belittling done at the expense of Wii owners "feelings about their systems". Now everyone wants us to feel good about Sony's hypocritical and what should be a very embarrassing "backstep"? We should feel honored that Sony copied us without acknowledgment? That sounds like something old time white rockers said about black blues artist back in the day when they stole their songs. At least the rockers didn't make fun of the music before they stole it. Sony & MS fans are going to have to expect the little jabs at their motion controllers. Personally I think Sony should bundle Super Sockboy Bros. Brawl or PSPORTS to complete the theft.

i like your thread..i thin you r right.  But i don't think this will stop any future debate between the fan boys...For me i think the main problem is not the majority of fans from Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft...there are only minority of people who are so aggressively to "fight" for their system...first i was bit annoyed by it, but now i look at it...is kind of funny....the way i look at it..why people get so hyped up about who is better, which should be first etc....in the end, we are only numbers to them(Microsoft,Nintendo and Sony) They wouldn't give a shit about us, no matter how supportive we are.  You think you "show your loyalty" to them, and fight for them in the forum will make them help/support you in the future? Just grow up, people.....and admit it, they couldn't careless about you.  They don't give a shit!! 

I think the hate is pointed more at the company than the fans. I love the fans. I use to be one of them until Sony decided to charge 600 bucks for a console.
