The question is: Why did Sony make their controllers so similar? Possibly because they didn't have many options. If you think about it, there aren't many options. Maybe it could've looked something like a computer mouse. Maybe it could've looked like a calculator. Sony probably went with what was easiest to make. And what was easiest for the user. The Wiimote was already there, all they had to was use the technology that was already there and put it in their own controller.
As for the Move, why didn't Sony come up with a more creative title? Who knows...
Even though I am a Nintendo-only fan, Project Natal seems much more unique than Move or the Wii. Natal uses motion control on a whole new level. It seems much more innovative. |
aye, they had to make it exactly like the Wiimote because they are clueless. Its not like they had a big list of design ideas and options to choose from. All they had was the Wiimote to copy, and so they did, right down to the finest details like initial game designs and advertising.
There is no specific reason, noble or malicious, for designing the Move as it is other than the simple fact that Sony isn't capable of designing anything else. They copied Wii word for word out of necessity.

Indeed. Im totally agree with you.
It doesn't matter what Sony or Nintendo does. The only thing that matterts, is that we (gamers) will have fun, in every console. And thats the real deal.
hahahaha, lol
wow am I sick of this brainless platitude. How about instead of considering nothing while forming our opinions, we instead consider everything. Shutting off your brain in order to form a shallow opinion of something is preschool stuff, not some display of ultimate video game wisdom...
