But... but... I thought Wii owners hated IGN because of some random guys blog!?

About once a month they post editorials that argue things like "Nintendo is lazy and its fans don't care" because New Super Mario Bros. Wii has no online multiplayer.  They also trolled Nintendo in a Nintendo-only podcast, and then admitted they only did it for the hits.  The article in the OP argues that the Wii games are the worst, and proves this with their own low reviews for the Wii.

Now only 2 or 3% of their entire traffic is from their Wii section, and even less is from the DS section.  Either they never had a Nintendo fanbase or they chased their Nintendo fans out of town.

Where did you get these statistics? Not that they sound wrong, but i'm wondering if they admitted that, or you have some outside source.

Hate fox news?

Then you hate ign, its the same owner.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

^Explains a lot

They basicly just made that article to troll on the wii.

Obviously the wii has great games coming out this year, but what about the ds? I really want to use my ds more because I haven't played it in about two months.

Eh? WarioWare DIY, Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver, Golden Sun DS, Scribblenauts 2, Infinite Space...

And I lost faith in IGN this is pathetical. Third parties are the worst gaming companies, I don't like them at all because they never planned one big game for the Wii except of Capcom because they want to make easy money. Screw them, PS3 would be obsolete if they haven't put any games on it.

No big games for Wii, no sales, understand? Ubisoft prefers to put casual games on it... so why Just Dance sells that much? Because it's their fault. If they had put just AAA games, casual people would buy their games. Simple.

Meh. Warioware, while funny, never really appealed to me and I don't like pokemon. I have never heard of infinite space either. I guess scribblenauts 2 and Golden sun will be fun but thats it. Maybe I am too picky. Hopefully Nintendo will announce new games at e3.

Infinite Space was co-developed by Platinum Games and Nude Maker.  Platinum Games just made MadWorld and Bayonetta, and back in the day when they were Clover they made Viewtiful Joe, Okami, and Godhand.  Nude Maker are the wackos who made Steel Batallion, the game that used this controller.

Apparently it's half spaceship-cutomization and then half space-battles.  I just want to see what Platinum does on the DS.

Definitely looking forward to zelda and metroid, was looking forward to red steel2,unfortunately after playing it,it was'nt as good as anticipated,I still dont see a huge jump in fuctionality with motion plus add on,but I'm sure if any game will make perfect use of it it's zelda.
