True, yet I have met lots of broken people that came from broken homes. The system I would like to see would limit such cases, as I have met more broken people in my life than people who rose above and beyond.

Maybe you missed the point. Just because a few amazing things come out of mostly bad things, usually doesn't mean that the bad things are supported. Well, maybe by people that are out of touch with reality.
