I was joking, but I do think we need to have a system in place to better prepare people for children. That way there will be less unfit parents out there. No child deserves to live in an unfit home(I mean that by alcoholics, druggies, abuse and the like.)

Some of the most famous people of all time have come from poor and/or unfit homes. Sometimes, people have to go through great suffering to overcome and achieve greatness.

True, yet I have met lots of broken people that came from broken homes. The system I would like to see would limit such cases, as I have met more broken people in my life than people who rose above and beyond.
