I was joking, but I do think we need to have a system in place to better prepare people for children. That way there will be less unfit parents out there. No child deserves to live in an unfit home(I mean that by alcoholics, druggies, abuse and the like.)

Some of the most famous people of all time have come from poor and/or unfit homes. Sometimes, people have to go through great suffering to overcome and achieve greatness.

Yes, and some of the greatest leaders of all time have come from dictatorships and not democracies, but I don't see many dicatorships around anymore.

Did you really just compare a system of government to a social status and standard of living?
