Are people forgetting the low attach rate of accessories?

I doubt a whole new market will open for the PS3.

Wii has proven that you just need the software for the accessories to sell.

If Sony get the right software, Move will sell.

The question is, wich software is it?

totally different... every Wii came with a motion controller from launch

there are over 30m PS3 owners with no motion controller and none with motion controllers as of today.... and a lot of that 30m have a Wii.

I don't think it's "totally" different. As every Wii doesn't come with a balance board, yet Wii Fit is one of it's best selling titles and a definate system seller.

As for the red... Prove it?

I believe that exclusives will soon be a thing of the past. The reason I say that is because the way the economy is looking in order for companies to stay above water they need more sales. So I see more originals going multiplatform.

Sixaxis can't be included since it just isn't used. PS move needs killers software to be worth...

For me, a game that is on 2 or more platforms is not exclusive, is multiplatform, even if that platfortm is a PC/Mac or a handheld (including phones), so a Wii/PS3 game is not the exception... And HD exclusive means that it's just on HD, so i guess the game is not on Wii and the game doesn't have SD mode...

here you go....

NPD: Most Wii Owners Do Not Own Other Consoles

According to a new report from The NPD Group, console cross-ownership among Wii owners in the U.S. is fairly low. Wii owners, who represent 32 percent of all gamers, for the most part stick to Nintendo's console. Only 14 percent of Wii owners also own a PS3, while 26 percent also own an Xbox 360.

On the other hand, PS3 owners (who comprise just 10 percent of all gamers) tend to purchase all three systems. 42 percent of PS3 owners also have a Wii and 34 percent also own an Xbox 360. As for the Xbox 360 owners (who represent 20 percent of all gamers), 42 percent also own a Wii and 18 percent also own a PS3.

These figures seem to back up what we've been saying all along about core gaming on Wii. Core gamers likely have either a PS3 and/or an Xbox 360. If they also own a Wii (42 percent do), then they're not necessarily looking for core gaming experiences on that platform because they already have that on 360/PS3.

Interesting. Very interesting indeed.

And i can actually understand the red being true also.

^You can't have your cake and eat it too. On the one hand if core gamers didn't own Wii's you'd say there are no core gamers on Wii and therefore they can't sell. But if you find that core gamers also own a Wii you can say therefore they're not looking for core experiences on Wii?

Maybe they are looking for core experiences but in a way that is good on Wii.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
