Nintendo has never felt the need to do that in the past. They didn't troll Sony for stealing the D-pad, analog stick, pressure-sensitive buttons and rumble, so why should they start now?

Lmao Yamauchi was a verbal legend in those days, I still remember his comments on rpgs and the way his countrymen hit the roof when they heard it, only Kuturagi has match him but then again the whole of Sony PR are the super team when it comes to quotes.

When I read people here it seems like fanboyism starts from the companies and goes down to normal people, I wonder if the same happens in many other industries.

Anyway, I think companies should just avoid talking trash about competition and that way you would keep nerds less violent.
