That's alot of pre-orders would explain why Best Buy and Future Shop are having midnight opening advertised for this game on their website.....they didnt have one for FFXIII so they must have alot of customer pre-orders as well as extra for the lazy fools.

I dont think that those 225k pre-orders will last for even the first couple weeks, much less week 3 or 4. The game will be hard to find I imagine. PS3 stock is good here so should be interesting to see how many consoles move that week.

I wonder how many of those 225k are Ultimate Edition's? (1 for sure :P)

I dont know, perhaps because the game will be advertised in Europe as well?

Or maybe because pirating was very popular in other regions and GoW 1&2 were heavily pirated but we all know the PS3 doesnt let you play Isos (yet)

But that are just my opinions..

Of course it will sell less than in america but this time it wont be 75:25 (america:others) but more like 65:35

This is getting really crazy. With an opening of about 70k-80k just in Spain alone this game is looking likely to beat GOW2 others lifetime sales (670k) in it's first few weeks.
