Recently I've been amazed at how Sony fans will defend anything Sony does ...

Recently? It always happens!

Whats amazed me though, is how many Wii fans suddenly appeared when the Move was shown. And how much shit the thing has taken from Wii fans since it was shown...

Infact the only group of people who have kept quiet about the whole thing are 360 fans.

Very true, Wii fans have been the worst in all of this. After so many years of Wii fans saying "motion is the way forward for this industry. Sony goes ahead and does motion and they're all raging angry .. I don't get it?

I was wondering this too for a while, but it makes sense to me now.

Many Nintendo fanboys believe motion is the way forward, and that it should become the standard for the industry. However, they only want this to happen if Nintendo is the only one with motion controls. That way, Nintendo dominates and everyone else falls.

Selfishness is nothing new.

Anyone who didn't see that coming? The Wii has got a lot of bashing through the years, it's motion controls has been called gimmicky and whatever. And you are amazed about Wii fanboys coming out now that the tables has turned? They are fanboys!

Anyway I fixed your posts a bit

I don't think it's the motion conrols themselves that people have been hating on. Just the games that use them.

Hey, that's fanboy logic right there!

"Our console has the best features!"

"Hey, now another console has those features as well!"

"Boo!!!!!!!!!"

I must add that this whole thing shows which Wii fans who are nothing but brand fanboys. If those Wii fans really loved motion controls they should be damn happy that other companies thinks it's great as well. Unless, as you said, they're just being selfish.

Again, Fanboys don't matter, My concern is more on the Media industry
such as the magazines and forums, and moderators.

You gotta see the thread I'm going to put online tomorrow then.

There are only about 10 million of those articles/threads...

(Former) Lead Moderator and (Eternal) VGC Detective

Well, some guy posted that Natal was utter shit (not my opinion...it was another thread..its probably a retarded rumor which is not true)...So it needs defending too...There is tremendous hype behind Natal that if it fails people will explode. SONY fanboys will laugh like retards while 360 fans will go to damage control mode.

PS Move doesn't have the same hype but it seems to be as precise (if not more according to Vgchartz' SOCOM 4 article)..Personally, I don't care about motion controls unless its something that interests me ( it has failed up to this point), but if this fails I expect the same fanboy meltdowns.

Its unfortunate really, people calling Move a clone and assuming that Natal will fail already.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbSzmRt7HhQ Thats to break one argument.,..and I'm sure the other argument about Natal will also fail come this fall..

I'm not sure if I agree with that exactly, at large, PS3 fans (and 360) have been negative about motion, on VGChartz though yeah I agree, it's always been the games.

I've never had a problem with motion, but Nintendo's games just don't appeal to me.

Of course, alot of people complain about the implementation, but I think it's well known that there were people bashing the controller for what it is.

Anywayz, I hope that we will see more innovative gameplay from now on.
