u know what the problem is future of wii and ps3 are not really foreseeable
x360 has a solid future so why should we support, i know it is great, screw the people who think it's not.

if that happens i will be leaving. you want everyone to boil in their own juice of we are the best, our system rules sh&%t? talking with the likes of Mrstick and ssj is fun and i want to hear their view on wii related topics as well. anything segragating the community would hurt this website.

I don't hate the Xbox 360, I sold mine because there just isn't the variety of games i like.
The online is infinitely better than Wii or PS3 and it's a great gaming console if you mostly like shooters and racing games.

I haven't noticed that much 360 hate/potshots, but then again I rarely go to the X Box forum and don't go to many 360-centric threads in the Gaming forum. Where I do see a lot of bashing is in the comments posted beneath the weekly chartz. It seems the PS3 gets a beating quite a bit there. I also notice quite a few childish comments about the Wii in the comments section(as well as some 360 ones). I don't often say much about any of it, as I feel their childish comments discredit the posters enough, and it the mods responsibility, not mine.

Since this is going on in the 360 forums and you're a mod, take care of it. You don't need to explain yourself for taking actions against people who bring the forums down. If people aren't adding to the discussion and only complaining about how they wish it was happening for the Wii or PS3, tell them to cut it out. If they keep on, ban them. They may not be flaming, but they are dragging down a thread by adding absolutely nothing, only whining.

If this kind of crap is eliminated the forums will be better for it, but I also will expect the same kind of moderation in the Nintendo forum. There are a few users who don't usually flame, but like to come in and make irrelevant, off-handed, snide, passive-agressive remarks quite a bit. I don't say anything about them because...

There seems to be a bit of X Box/Sony coddling going on here. I realize the forums should be unbiased, hell the whole world should be, but it seems in an effort to appease some disgruntled X Box/Sony fans, some things have happened that I don't agree with. I won't go into details, because maybe some feel it's a necessary evil for this to happen. I can understand that logic, even though I disagree with it. This site needs to grow, it should grow, and deserves to grow to the point that it can be a self-sustaining and profitable effort.

Maybe being a Nintendo fan has just hardened me to the mockery from the peanut gallery. Perhaps that's the real reason I let it slide off my back. Being a Nintendo fan I've become used to ignorant mockery and biased forums, so I tend to ignore it more than complain.

Overall I think things here run pretty smoothly. This is my forum of choice, my home. I would rather see some more aggressive moderating, but I realize that is something you have to be careful with; modding people for derailing or attempting to derail threads without flaming could easily turn into a "thought police" sort of situation with some folks. It's a sticky situation, but on the whole I think almost everyone here does a great job. Just remember, no forum will suffer if idiots are banned. :)

 Why did I not give any suggestions? Because none are needed! Many great things are built off of their criticisms. That's how things get better! That's how people are driven to think for themselves rather than follow the masses.

The defeatist attitude is with you. There will never be a perfect forum free of any sort of hate on anything. The ability to criticize makes this place great.

Now staying on topic is another story. lol. 

I used to be a 360 doubter, as I wasn't a big fan of the original Xbox, but I bought it, and the system really is amazing. The library of games is just limitless!

It's kind of sad that people have already made up their minds on thing they will never experience or know nothing about.

I don't think there's that much more 360 hate than PS3 hate, but there are a lot less 360 fans to produce a rebuttal.

I haven't seen so much of the 360 hate, as i have seen "mrstickball hate", and even without any apparent reason.

I have been posting in these forums since january(?) and this "hate" thing comes somewhat in wawes. In other words, it's 360:s turn.
The recent "hate" propably comes from finding out 360 being overtracked, which leads all the fanboys attacking the xbots the way you would beat someone who has just got beaten. Same thing with SMG sales, or Lair reviews or, or, or... So it's more like a general trend and who knows what's next.
Although, i see it being ok, when you enter a thread and make arguments, with some basis, against something being discussed. But, it too often someone starts attacking the posters for owning a certain console, liking certain game etc. or trolling with dissing the facts that has proven the troll being wrong.

@snufft: Your post was the kind of post we would like to see more on this site. Keep up the good work.
