One thing's for sure...
If Final Fantasy 7: Remake will be 3x bigger than FFXIII... The next Xbox better damn well use Blu-ray, or some other mahoosive disc. 9 discs for a game is just WAY too much.

If Sony managed to secure that as an exclusive launch title. Then I think it would be fair to say they would get propelled into first place next gen :P
Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.
"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
I doubt it. It'll probably go to Wii/360 since that's where most of the FF7 fan-base migrated this gen. Besides, I consider it unlikely that there will be a PS4, at least not for a looooooong time.
meh im really tired of remakes new stuff is better.

If the next Wii is said to be as powerful as a PS3/360, Crystal Tools might be used for Wii 2 development.

You can expect the next Xbox console to be able to hold as much or more info as BluRay. What technology it will use is anyone's guess. Possibly HVD's (Holographic Versatile Discs), USB based drive (Flashdrivesque) or direct download. I just don't think Microsoft will want to use BluRay since its Sony tech.
It better not use Blu-Ray. I don't want to hear it from certain individuals that Microsoft has been sleeping with the enemy for the rest of my life. It's bad enough as it is right now.
It's just that simple.

Blu-ray is not Sony tech.
Sony had a role in developing it, yes.
Sony is a board member of the BDA, yes.
Sony did not invent it, and does not own it.
