Forums - Sales - Playstation Move Is Going To Be Expensive

Im sure you are the exception in most cases, btw PS3 only works with 7 controllers if you can get 12 people playing at once thats amazing.

Maybe tell your 11 friends to bring their own controllers. For most people if new skews are shipping with a move, picking up a starter kit for the packed in game and a second controller wont be a big deal.
Or maybe it will be and im the exception by not being worried about the hypothetical cost of motion controllers.

My guess is they'll price competitively with the Wii for standalones...

Move = Wiimote + Motion Plus = $50

Move Sub = Nunchuck = $20

Uhh this is nothing new.

You can say the same thing about your DS3. They're $60, if I wanna play a 4 player game, that's $240 right there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only difference I see is that some games might require 2 wands and the PS Eye is required (a 1 time cost though).

So, seems to me like you pay for the PSEye and everything else is roughly in line with the same cost as buying another DS3.

If any game has 6 players and requires multiple wands per player will price themselves out of any game sales.

I love how the Sub controller has less no motion tech and comes out more expensive than a nunchuk.

I also love how Sony stuff is automatically $10 more than the competition.

I love speculation.

:D My thoughts exactly

I wouldn't be surprised to see Starter kits contain PSEye + MOVE(main controller + nunchuck) + GAME (Wii sports clone?) for $99.95 and for SONY to start bundling the PSEye with the PS3 around this time -- so that they can sell another bundle with Move(controller+sub) + Game for $70.

This is what you sound like >>

A full PS3 experience costs $300 for the PS3, a few hundred for the controllers, a few thousand for the TV to play it on, hundreds for a surround sound, and near on a million for a house to live in whilst playing your PS3.

Years ago, people claimed 4 Wiimotes, 4 nunchuks, 4 classic controllers, 4 Wii Wheels, 4 gun mounts, 4 packs of the tennis racket/golf club attachments, 4 Balance boards etc as 'necessary Wii expenses' If you are on a budget, you can play with a PS3, regular controller, one move thing and a PSeye. Total cost, assuming you already own a PS3 but not an eye, "less than $100"

LOL. Natal is gonna mutilate Move.

Sony has not made $1 dollar from the PS3, they need to be careful how they price things.
