Forums - Microsoft - Crysis 2 - Xbox 360 trailer from GDC

I doubt people are offended that it is on the 360. It is just that you are saying it is the Crysis 2 360 trailer when in reality it isn't.

No need to have 2 threads for the same exact trailer when putting it in the gaming forum kills 2 birds with 1 stone.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Who is offended it's on the 360?

I'm pretty sure it's because you've put a mutliplatform game in the MS section labelling it as an "Xbox 360 trailer".

It belongs in the gaming forum, as it's not exclusive, nor is the content of the video exclusively 360 content.

A. Nobody has expressed disgust with the choice of platforms the game will grace.

Yet immediatly is set upon by naysayers and non-english speakers. I'm starting to think that "that thread" was right.

B. You've claimed that the footage in the OP was just PC/360 footage.

The footage states as much, that a portion of it is from the PC and the rest, console. Xbox 360 is a console.

C. It includes the PS3, making this the wrong forum for such a trailer.

It includes the PC too, but since it's a trailer about a interportability of tools. What you gonna do. It's amazing to think that hardly anyone is talking about the footage.

The console demo looks much better than any other console game (graphically speaking), just look at the "destructible worlds" part, but no surprises, it's Crysis after all.

The question is: Is it the x360 version or the PS3 version?

Yep. I was very impressed by the fact that it's procedural destruction, none of that pre-scripted malarky. Didn't think we'd see a game do that on this scale this generation.

New benchmark on consoles and PCs.
