By the way, if they kept it like old school Final Fantasy games they would have bitched about it not trying anything new.

I think they just hate it because it isn't open world.

...Or they could have taken the system from FFXII, improved the story, and made the best JRPG ever.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I miss the victory theme song

That's what I mean... and said, the da da da da Daaa da daa da da part.

Also missing the (I don't know if it's like a harp or piano sound) classic theme that was in pretty much every FF game I can remember..

Unicorns ARE real - They are just fat, grey and called Rhinos

i didn't really like the system in ff12. and i just couldn't get into the 12's story as much as ff13's, they have a more interesting cast this time around. and also, ff13's battle system is better. i'd put 13 over 12 any day, the only bad thing i could say about 13 is the linearity.... =]

Sure, it doesn't feel like a past FF game, but this could be said about FF6, FF7, FF8, FF10, and FF12 as well. Many FF titles are unique; and do not feel like FF games until people get used to calling them FF games.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

From what I've heard about it, it's taking the JRPG in the oposite direction of wich the genre should be going.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Well, it certainly feels like a FF game, especially so with all of the references to the older ones.

What? That would have killed the franchise

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
